We are always looking for interns to join our dedicated team both on the ground in Thailand as well as from abroad working remotely on tasks such as fundraising and website maintenance. Our field-based internships are a great opportunity for young people seeking teaching experience or experienced educators looking to volunteer abroad.
We strive to design interesting internships that are mutually beneficial for our interns, our communities and Kwah Dao as a whole. Unfortunately we cannot fund our internships, though many of our prior interns have received funding through grants through their universities and external foundations. We ask interns to commit to at least three months to our organization. Because developing trust and providing a sense of stability for our communities takes time, interns who can commit to yearlong internships receive priority.
If you would like to learn more about our internships or have any questions, please contact Lydia Prongnamjai, our Executive Director. We accept applications on a rolling basis, so the earlier you submit an application, the better.
