Thapanee Kesa (Jern) holds a B.A. in Business (Chinese) from Mae Fah Luang University and is currently working as a teacher at the Lamphun Special Education Center. Having lived in Northern Thailand for many years, she has gained deep insight into the region’s ethnic diversity.
At her school, many of her students come from ethnic minority or hill tribe communities living in remote villages throughout Lamphun Province. Through her teaching experience, Jern has witnessed firsthand the challenges these communities face, including how limited access to education can unintentionally impact children’s development—particularly when parents themselves lack formal education.
Recognizing the vital role of education and understanding Kwah Dao’s mission and the needs of its target groups, Jern joined the organization in 2022. Since then, she has contributed to planning and shaping its work across various areas.
