Thapanee Kesa (Jern) graduated B.A. in Business (Chinese) from Mae Fah Luang University. She is currently working as a teacher at Lumphun Special Education Center. She knows a lot about ethnic diversity because she has lived in Northern Thailand for years. At her school, many of her students are from ethnic groups or hill tribes who live in very remote villages in Lumphun Province. During her teaching at LSEC, she has witnessed the difficulties and limitations of these people living in the countryside and remote areas including observing how uneducated parents can cause the physical effects and development delay on their children without intention. She realized the importance of education and had a good understanding of Kwah Dao’s missions and target groups so in 2022, she joined Kwah Dao in helping the organization plan and design its work in every aspect.
