Nuannicha Dangsuk (Nuan) is a former Kwah Dao scholarship recipient who earned a B.A. in Business (Chinese) from Mae Fah Luang University. She has been connected to Kwah Dao since 2000 and has witnessed the challenges and transformations the organization and its students have experienced over more than 22 years.
As a person growing up in an ethnic group society, Nuan understands the hardships and barriers disadvantaged students face in pursuing higher education—especially those living along the Thai-Myanmar border. Many are expected to begin working immediately after high school, as their families are often unable to afford the costs of further education.
Motivated by her own experiences and a strong desire to give back, Nuan officially joined the Kwah Dao team in 2019. Her goal is to expand educational opportunities for vulnerable youth and help guide the organization forward in a meaningful and sustainable way.
