On 24 October 2025, representatives of the Kwah Dao Foundation, including the Thai Board President and Acting Director, visited Shan Youth Power (SYP) to deliver a donation of THB 64,238.86 to an SYP representative. This amount was raised through the campaign “Fundraise for Shan Youth Power by Kwah Dao” during July–August 2025, to support SYP’s Scholarship Program and related educational activities.
This fundraising campaign was a collaborative effort among three parties:

Mr. Jun, who initiated the fundraising idea and defined the objectives for the use of funds;

Kwah Dao Foundation, which acted as the donation recipient and intermediary; and

Shan Youth Power (SYP), the beneficiary responsible for implementing the use of funds according to the campaign’s objectives.

Mr. Jun, a student volunteer from a university in the United States, was introduced by Kwah Dao Foundation to volunteer with SYP. During this experience, he was deeply impressed by SYP’s work and recognized the challenges faced by its target student group—particularly in accessing educational opportunities and scholarships. Motivated by these observations, he initiated the fundraising campaign to provide financial support to SYP for its scholarship and operational needs.
However, since SYP is still in the process of registering as a foundation, it faces certain limitations in receiving direct donations. Upon receiving Mr. Jun’s request and after carefully reviewing the intended use of funds, Kwah Dao Foundation found that the purpose fell within an appropriate and supportive scope—especially as SYP is one of Kwah Dao’s close partners. Therefore, Kwah Dao agreed to collaborate in carrying out the campaign, which ultimately achieved its fundraising target successfully.
The total funds raised amounted to USD 2,245.62 and THB 154.52. After deducting transaction and transfer fees and converting the remaining funds into Thai Baht, the final amount totaled THB 64,238.86.
During the handover, Kwah Dao team presented evidence of all transfers and fee deductions to SYP staff. The SYP representative verified the amount, confirmed its accuracy, and subsequently signed the donation handover record. Kwah Dao team also emphasized the importance of using the funds strictly in accordance with the stated purposes of the campaign.
