Journey Into Oneself Pai Community Donates 36,120 Baht to Kwah Dao

On Monday, 23 February 2026, Kwah Dao Foundation, represented by Mr. Jarudech as the organization’s representative, met with representatives from Journey Into Oneself Pai Community to receive a donation raised by the organization together with students from QiGong TaiJi School, Pai Branch. The total amount donated was 36,120 baht.

During the meeting, Kwah Dao briefly explained how the donation would be utilized to ensure the greatest possible benefit. Kwah Dao also shared its background, mission, and development over the past 26 years since its establishment, so that the donors could better understand its ongoing commitment and dedication to its work.

This donation was made out of goodwill and a shared desire to contribute to community and social development. It was led by Journey Into Oneself Pai Community and QiGong TaiJi School, Pai branch, which offers TaiJi, QiGong, GongFu, Meditation, and other related classes to interested individuals in Pai District. In addition to promoting the physical and mental well-being of their students, the organization recognizes the importance of improving the quality of life for people in the communities where they reside. In the past, they have consistently donated essential supplies and financial assistance to ethnic minority families in highland areas, as well as to students in remote schools in Pai District and nearby areas. This most recent contribution marks an expansion of their support to Kwah Dao. Furthermore, Journey Into Oneself Pai Community proposed potential future collaboration with Kwah Dao, including jointly organizing stress-relief activities for Kwah Dao’s target groups, which include stateless persons and migrant workers who face various limitations and challenges in their daily lives and therefore often experience significant stress and pressure.

The donation of 36,120 baht will be allocated to Kwah Dao’s Scholarship and Student Loan Program, the core program, to provide continuous support to scholarship students. This amount is sufficient to cover a university student’s tuition fees for up to two semesters and to fund a student visa extension for one academic year. The scholarship recipient(s) who will have access to this donation are those who have been carefully selected based on academic performance, family hardship, conduct, and demonstrated sense of responsibility toward the community and society. Kwah Dao scholarship students dedicate part of their academic breaks to supporting charitable activities in areas of their interest, subject to Kwah Dao’s approval, to cultivate a spirit of giving back to society according to their abilities.

Kwah Dao Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to Journey Into Oneself Pai Community, its students, and all those involved for their trust and generous support. Special thanks are extended to khun Ema and khun Thomas for taking the time to travel to Chiang Mai to hand over the donation to the Kwah Dao personally.
